1. sullen (adj.) 慍怒的;不高興的
Mark was sullen most of the time, while Lori was quiet and subdued.
Mark 大部分時(shí)間都愁眉不展，而 Lori 安靜而乖巧。
2. sulk (v.) 生氣;慍怒
She is liable to sudden mood changes and would sulk and cry for no apparent reason.
她的情緒易變，還會(huì)無(wú)緣無(wú)故地生氣和哭泣。
3. fume (n.) 憤怒;煩惱
Your harsh words put her in fume.
你那些難聽(tīng)的話使她生氣了。
4. displeased (adj.) 不開(kāi)心的;生氣的
He was rather displeased with his friends.

5. irritate (v.) 引起惱怒;引起不愉快

1. as mad as a wet hen 氣得哇哇叫
跟淋濕的母雞一樣生氣?想像母雞待在雞籠里一個(gè)晚上，想走出雞籠透透氣時(shí)，突然之間全身被淋得濕濕搭搭的，光用想的都覺(jué)得好生氣!
My mom gets as mad as a wet hen wheneve anyone drops ashes on the rug.
要是誰(shuí)把煙灰掉在地毯上，我媽媽就會(huì)氣得哇哇叫。
2. choke with rage 氣得說(shuō)不出話
choke 有噎住、阻塞的意思，所以 choke with rage 就是指氣到都得內(nèi)傷，氣得都說(shuō)不出話來(lái)了。
Raymond's dad was choked with rage when Raymond finally got home at two in the morning.
Raymond 凌晨?jī)牲c(diǎn)回到家時(shí)，他爸爸氣得說(shuō)不出話來(lái)。
3. champ with rage 氣得咬牙切齒
champ 有大聲咀嚼、咬牙切齒的意思，所以整句的意思就是帶著憤怒地咬牙切齒。
Lisa's boss champed with rage and fired her on the spot when she missed the deadline for the report again.
Lisa 的老板在發(fā)現(xiàn)她又沒(méi)在期限內(nèi)完成報(bào)告時(shí)，氣得把她當(dāng)場(chǎng)解雇。
4. get hot under the collar 氣得臉紅脖子粗
collar 是衣領(lǐng)的意思，領(lǐng)子下面很熱?意思就是太生氣了，整個(gè)身體都發(fā)熱，氣得臉紅脖子粗。
She got hot under the collar when they spilled coffee on her face accidentally.
當(dāng)他們不小心把咖啡灑在她臉上時(shí)，她氣得臉紅脖子粗。
5. as mad as hell 氣壞了
hell 是地獄的意思，所以 as mad as hell 就是“生氣的感覺(jué)就像是被打入地獄那樣難受的程度”。
He got as mad as hell after he found his car has been stolen while he was away.
他發(fā)現(xiàn)車子被偷時(shí)氣壞了。
6. foam at the mouth 火冒三丈
foam 是泡沫的意思，foam at the mouth 嘴包里都是泡泡，意指你真的很生氣，氣得口吐白沫。
She was foaming at the mouth because of her daughter's rudeness.
她女兒不禮貌的行為氣得她火冒三丈。
7. hit the ceiling 氣得發(fā)火
hit the ceiling 直接翻譯的話就是“撞到了天花板”。形容一個(gè)人太生氣了，暴跳如雷，像卡通那樣氣得都飛起來(lái)撞上天花板了。
Sara's dad hit the ceiling when she cut class for no reason.
Sara 的爸爸在得知她翹課后氣得發(fā)火。
8. piss someone off 惹某人生氣
piss 的原意原本是上小號(hào)，但是現(xiàn)在已經(jīng)很少人會(huì)把他當(dāng)上小號(hào)的`意思了。反倒是 piss off 這個(gè)片語(yǔ)就非常常用，指的是反感、厭惡、生氣的意思。
His attitude just pisses me off.
他的態(tài)度令我十分不滿。
9. blow a fuse 勃然大怒
blow 在這邊我們當(dāng)作“燒斷”的意思，而 fuse 則是“保險(xiǎn)絲”。燒斷保險(xiǎn)絲為什么是生氣呢?如果電流太強(qiáng)，電器無(wú)法負(fù)荷時(shí)，保險(xiǎn)絲就會(huì)斷裂。形容一個(gè)人的憤怒達(dá)到極點(diǎn)時(shí)，便會(huì)失去理智，勃然大怒。
He blew a fuse after he found out his wife had spent so much money on a purse.
他發(fā)現(xiàn)妻子花了一大筆錢買包包，氣得勃然大怒。
10. fly into a rage 暴怒
rage 本身就是憤怒、生氣的意思，所以 fly into a rage 非常簡(jiǎn)單明了也是憤怒、生氣的意思。
I asked to speak to his boss but he flew into a rage all of a sudden.
我要求和他的老板談話，他卻頓時(shí)暴怒。
