托福閱讀解題的過程實(shí)際上也就是兩大快速閱讀技巧的結(jié)合：略讀(Skimming了解中心) +查讀(Scanning查找細(xì)節(jié))。skimming 和scanning 都要求能快速準(zhǔn)確地識別關(guān)鍵詞或詞組(定位速度)。而恰恰這一步是大家所不熟悉和忽略的。這肯定不是詞匯量不足的問題。要真正提高托福閱讀速度，必須首先提高定位速度。

　　這里給大家介紹一下“掃視定位法”，即變逐字、逐句閱讀為字群、詞群、意群閱讀，用一目一行，一目多行等方式，以高于平時精讀幾倍乃至幾十倍的速度掃視閱讀材料，從而快速在原文中定位到題干中的關(guān)鍵詞。具體做到：避免眼球沒有規(guī)律的掃視; 避免中途回視;加快眼動速度，逐步擴(kuò)大“視知覺廣度”。“視知覺廣度”大，由于眼球注視時間短和中途回視的次數(shù)少(眼動速度快)，閱讀的平均速度就比較快。
