The Objective is a statement which expresses an employment goal in one or two phrases and tells the employer what your target job is or what you want to do.
The Objective is basically contains the career plan statement of the applicant in relation to what the employer or company looks for.
The goal of Resume Objective is to increase the chance of getting a positive response from the company. You need to provide an effective Objective so that the employer will be encouraged to read the resume further.
The more specific you are, the better chance you have of being considered. When you are applying for several companies, you should create definite objective for each of them. You must never settle for bland or general objective because this can't hit employer's purpose to be invited for an interview.
