An Axe to Grind
A boy begs his father to get him a Christmas tree this year.
Each year, the boy asks and the father tells him, "I don't want to pay for it."
But the son kept begging. Unable to bear his son's whining, he picks up his axe one day and heads out of the house.
Thirty minutes later he returns with a great big Christmas tree. "How did you cut it down so fast?" his son asks.
"I didn't cut it down," the father replies.
"I got it at a tree lot."
"Then why did you bring an axe?"
"Because I didn't want to pay."
一個(gè)孩子求他爸爸，說能不能今年為家里準(zhǔn)備一棵圣誕樹
小男孩每年求他爸爸得到的都是同樣的回答“我可不想為一棵樹付錢。”(這個(gè)爸爸肯定不是基督教徒，而且還非常摳門)
但是小男孩不放棄的一直祈求，終于有一天，他爸被他的哀求折磨得受不了，他拿起一把斧子，直接沖出了門。
30分鐘后，他爸爸帶著一棵超大的圣誕樹回到了家。他兒子問：“你怎么會(huì)砍得那么快?”
他爸爸回答到：“我不是砍的”
“我是從一個(gè)圣誕樹銷售中心拿的”
“那你為什么還要帶把斧子去呢?”
“因?yàn)槲也幌敫跺X”(敢情這爸爸勒索啊)
