M:No, Kate.That’s my little sister’s cat.I once had a pet dog.

M:Sure! Her name was Judy.At first, my little sister got Judy as a birthday present from her uncle, but she was allergic to dogs.So she gave Judy to me.It was only 5 months at that time.

M:Most of the time it is all right.But don’t leave it alone at home for too long.At most, no more than 1 day.You need to do something before you leave.
W: Go ahead please! I’m all ears!
M:Well, you’d better walk the dog outside for a while.And make sure there is enough water and food.Remember to keep it from the bedroom and living room.It is best the dog stay at his place.But if you are always too busy outside, don’t even start to raise a dog.
W: I see.Is there any other important advice to give?
M:Keep it clean.Wash it regularly, once or twice a week.Make it form a good eating habit.Don’t forget to take it to the vet twice a year.In all, love and patience are the only things that matter to a dog.
