雅思聽(tīng)力條件詞中的陷阱詞
說(shuō)起雅思聽(tīng)力出現(xiàn)的條件詞,先說(shuō)一句西方的.諺語(yǔ)：There is no free lunch in the world. 世界上沒(méi)有免費(fèi)的午餐。很多語(yǔ)句的前后都會(huì)伴隨著一些條件詞：
Only if, Unless, Except for , As long as, Provided that, On condition that
如果聽(tīng)題時(shí)候分神了,烤鴨會(huì)死得很慘!
例一：只有二三年級(jí)生才能使用MAC電腦嗎?
The third computer network that is the Macintosh computer network is reserved for the second and third year students to use only, unless you are the first year students of the Graphic Design course, who require higher quality of the output of your work.
不是,因?yàn)楹竺嬗袀�(gè)unless部分。
例二：是否任何事情都可以聯(lián)系你?
Q: May I put you into our mailing list?
A: Well, Id prefer not, except for the information about the promotion you mentioned just now.
只有一個(gè)條件可以,就是except for后面的情況。
例三：你覺(jué)得多長(zhǎng)時(shí)間播一次廣告可以接受呢?
Q: How long will it be tolerate to have adverts?
A: Well, Id say every quarter of an hour, as long as they dont last for 10 minutes each time.
答案絕對(duì)不是10分鐘,我的課上這個(gè)題是重點(diǎn)題也是難題!很多考生會(huì)選錯(cuò),純粹是因?yàn)榭忌宦?tīng)到10分鐘這個(gè)點(diǎn)太清楚了,別的都很模糊,而且as long as 的條件詞特別提醒了考生后面的錯(cuò)誤選項(xiàng)。
